Ana has been my boss for eight long years and I have to thank her for teaching me everything that I know today. Not many know that although Ana appears to be a tough woman, she also has a soft heart. With me, she is very generous. Since she demands quality work from me all the time, she also does not forget to reward me for a job well done. When she thinks that I did a lousy job, she would tell me straight to my face that I did a lousy job. I would not feel bad at all because I know that she means well. Her way of performance coaching is something that I really find effective for me. Ana is also a dear friend to me. I know that I count on her for anything that I need - be it professional or personal matters. I consider myself to be a lucky person, because I was mentored by no less than the best. Thank you, Ana for molding me to become who I am today. |

Mom, I will be home before you know it. Just relax and take it easy, okay? Please tell dad to fetch me at the airport by ten in the morning. The plane should have landed by then. By the way, have you told my friends I was coming home? I hope not because I wanted to surprise them. Anyway, please tell Jim I got his play station so he better be ready with a good report card to show me. I also have your new set of jewelry. I hope you'll like it, mom. Just before dad starts to wonder if I have something for him, please tell him he will have a brand new tools set to use for his shop. Aside from all that I have mentioned and some gifts for friends, I am not really bringing much. I wanted to travel as light as possible. Anyway, if there's something that we need, we can just buy them there. I look forward to seeing all of you in a while. See you later. |
