A study was done about why people prefer selecting pay per click than choosing search engine optimization and also they made a revelation about the misunderstanding people had about seo and what the facts were like. The study concentrated on the matter of seo versus ppc. People preferred ppc because the outcome was seen straight away and when it came to seo, it was an ongoing process, and it was not as foreseeable as it was the case for ppc. Thus many people termed seo as a precarious business adventure and what people needed was predictability in their business. Now about the misconception that people have about how dear seo can be and how inexpensive ppc is really not the case. The study has shown that many organizations of business do not end up spending a lot on seo as they do on ppc because with the latter, as much as you can be able to predict the sales and profits and under goings, with every prediction, or even sale you get, you end up spending a little bit more because you need to keep up, by doing this you do not invest in anything as is the case with seo, where the investments you make becomes a bigger advantage and profit.
